2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 to be Priced at 75k: WHAT???

Okay, so I'm not gonna say that the 500+HP 7.0l normally aspirated V8, the carbon ceramic brakes, and the absolutely fantastic suspension system aren't lustworthy, but I will say that this is SUPPOSED to be the performance version of one of Americas favorite rwd sports cars. The price, unfortunately, does not reflect as such. I mean, would you really buy this thing over a 2012 Corvette ZR1 with 20k miles? I certainly wouldn't. Of course, as the car is only a limited production run, there will be the inevitable buyers that pick these up ASAFP. These guys are not only way-too-filthy rich, but they will most assuredly be Chevy Uber fanboys who are only slightly over the hill. That's not to say the cars credentials don't back up the sticker price, as it beats not only the Porsche 911 Carrera S around the Nurburgring, but also the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, which is a legendary machine to say the least.

So what's the deal? Does this car really belong in the same price range as something so groundbreakingly badass as the Nissan GT-R? I would lean towards a big fat NO, but that's just me. What are your thoughts? Leave them in the comments below, and we look forward to the first example hitting our lot sometime in the future!
