There are quite a few people that I know who have taken their smart phones to the next level by "jailbreaking", or "rooting" them. What this does is it allows the owner of the jail-broken phone to tap into the devices true potential, turning it into essentially, a small computer. That being said, Josh Siegal of CarKnow has learned how to use these powerful devices to personalize and customize an entire car. What with all the computer whatsits and gadgets in all these newfangled ve-hicles, there'd better be a way to hack into them somehow. How cool would it be if you could walk up to your car and have it say something like, "Hello Mr. French, you're looking dashing. How much boost will we be running today?" Or something badass like that. Check out the video and let us know what you think. Is this a dangerous and irresponsible toy for maniacal car jackers? Or is this only one of the most epic tools for our rides since the release of tuning software to the masses? I would argue the latter, but that's not for me to decide. Enjoy.
