Father/Son Lightning McQueen Project

As a kid, you fantasize about everything from dinosaurs to imaginary friends; but for me, it was all about cars. This little kid and his father seem to share my feelings, and decided that the young mans Lightning McQueen electric car just wasn't fast enough. So to fix this little issue, they did a complete tear down, replacing all the stock components with high-end metal parts and motors. The list of mods is surprisingly long for something you can buy at Toys 'R' Us. They rebuilt the brakes, replaced the cheap-o motor, installed disc brakes and sealed ball bearings, and they even put on rubber off-road tires. Honestly, the whole build is pretty sweet, and you can be sure that the little buggy is the fastest electric toy on the block. I'm happy to see that they were successful, but I'm more impressed with the fact that this dad would take the time to instruct his son at such a young age. Kudo's to you guy. Check out the video and tell me this isn't the coolest thing ever.
