The all new 2014 Chevrolet SS will come equipped with a 6.2L LS3 with 415HP and 415ft. lb of torque. Those are numbers aimed directly towards the likes of the Cadillac CTS-V and BMW M5. I am extremely excited to see what kind of aftermarket applications will surface not only for performance upgrades, but for styling as well. I can only imagine how wicked this thing will sit once planted on a set of lowering springs and shocks. I think a tasteful body kit with a decent set of American Racing rims would do this bad boy justice as well.
The SS should sprint from 0-60 in around five seconds, which is no joke for a four door sedan. Hopefully, it will be just as fun and strikingly beautiful as the previous generation SS, the legendary Impala. What do you think? Is this something that would serve you well as a daily driver?
