The Death of 3-Series Coupe, Birth of the 4-Series

BMW will no longer be producing a 3-series coupe because they will be replacing it with the all-new 4-series. I don't yet know if this is a good or bad thing, but I do know that the 4-series could be something spectacular. "According to the fluffy BMW press release, the “4” stands for greater sportiness, greater exclusivity and even clearer differentiation from the BMW 3 Series range." And from the pics I've seen so far, this is one of the best looking Bimmers to come out of Deutschland for several years. Everything about this car has been redefined and gone over to make it absolutely gorgeous from every angle. It is lower than the E92 by a full 1.3 inches, wider in the front by 1.7", and in the back by 3.1". Not only does this make it a better handling platform, but the aerodynamics have been improved at the same time for the purpose of increasing fuel economy.
Everything about the way this car looks just screams, "DRIVE ME!". Gone away are the dull-looking rear-view mirrors, and the irritatingly boring rear fascia, as they have been replaced with far more aggressive exhaust integrated into the bumper along with the wicked taillights and headlights. The 4-series looks as mean and intimidating as a Doberman, whereas the previous generation seemed more like an extremely excited Golden Retriever. Both are great dogs, but one will obviously destroy the other. Let us know what you think in the comment box below. And have a Merry Christmas!
