So if you don't live under a rock, you've heard about the massively popular show on the Discovery Channel called Man VS. Wild. The basic premise of the show is exactly as the name implies. Pit one man against the extreme danger of wild environments. We've seen several variants of this idea, but the show One Car Too Far, takes the best of both the auto industry and survival show worlds by putting two guys in one car for three days in the wild. I would have thought it would be easier to explain, but apparently not. Anyway, the idea is great, but the execution seems lacking. I haven't seen a full episode yet, but these guys seem too scripted. In fact, it says in the beginning of the show that they will be assisted by the production company in certain situations. How lame is that? IMO, that takes away from a lot of the entertainment. It's like they're cheating. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
